Take a walk into the forest with a master naturalist Oct. 16

Locals and visitors will have the opportunity to learn about wildflowers and butterflies with and expert this year at the Back To Nature Festival in South Walton.

Florida master gardener and master naturalist  Snookie Parrish will be sharing her passion for nature and the outdoors with a walk through the Point Washington State Forest on Oct. 16 at 1 p.m.

Outdoor enthusiasts will have the opportunity to explore natural habitats as she identifies the indigenous flora in the area. Along with identifying and exploring the plant life, Snookie will also share her expertise on native and migrating butterflies.

Meet at at Eastern Lake Trail parking area, on east side of Highway 395 about ½ mile north of Publix supermarket. Limit 20 participants. ::MAP::
