Walton County Sheriff’s Office hosting Christmas gift drive

xmasgiftThe Christmas season is once again upon us. The Walton County Sheriff’s Office is seeking individuals, groups, organizations, agencies, churches, and local businesses that would like to contribute to the purchasing of Christmas gifts for 250 children in need here in our community.

There have a number of ways in which you can participate with helping us to provide these gifts. Below is a list of the options. If you would like to be a part please contact Lt. Danny Garner at 850-892-8186 or Candy Nowling at 850-892-1090.

Participation Options:

  • You can indicate the number of children you would like to shop for… a list to include a number representing the name, age, and sex of the children will be given to you for you to shop for.
  •  or you can purchase random gifts at your leisure and simply drop them off.
  • or you can make a monetary donation.

All gifts must be dropped off at The Matrix Community Outreach Center at 37 North 9th Street, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32433. All monetary donations can be dropped off at the Walton County Sheriff’s Dept. (In the remark area please note:  Santa Patrol Program) or at The Matrix Community Outreach Center.
