Learn successful techniques for growing olive trees

Successful olive tree cultivator James Williams will present a program on growing olives in Walton County. Williams knows what is required to grow olive trees in Northwest Florida’s coastal beach sand environment.  He will explain the difference between table olives and those grown for oil. Learn a little about different oils and their production.

This will be the eighth in a series of lectures tailored for local Gardeners. It will be on Wednesday, October 3rd at 10:00 am at the Coastal Branch Extension Office located at 70 Logan Lane in Grayton Beach off CR283 – just north of the 4 way stop.

Light refreshments will be served. Soil testing supplies and instruction will be available for $8 and Master Gardeners will be on hand to take your gardening questions.
