Walton County fishing report for Sept. 15

Fishing is good!

Bay: Lots of speckled trout and redfish being caught under schools of sailcats.

Fresh: River fishing is good but your going to need a bucket of water to launch your boat! Water level very low. Lots of shellcracker being caught with worms. Fly fishing is good catching bluegill and bream with popping bugs.

Gulf: Lots Spanish and king mackerel being caught off the pier near Pier Park. Red snapper season is opening up again in Oct. on the weekends.
