Walton County fishing report for July 6

Black drum, redfish and flounder in the bay, red snapper in the Gulf!

Salt: The bite is still on for red snapper and fishing is great! Folks are catching their limit in no time. Also reeling in some king mackerel a few triggerfish, vermillion and white snappers. Lots of herring along the shoreline.

Bay: Lots of redfish being caught along with speckled trout and black drum. Reeling them in with Berkley Gulp bait and shrimp. Large black drum being caught along the causeway and ship. Folks doing well crabbing.

River: Be careful out there, the river is still very low. Find your favorite hole, the fish are hungry and biting!
