Fishing is great!

Fishing was over the top at Hogtown Bayou on Jan. 8. The cold snap drove the small baitfish into the bayou and behind it came good size speckled trout and redfish. Fishermen were reeling in as fast as they could cast a line on the bayou.

Choctawhatchee Bay: Cold snap had net casters reeling in large catches of mullet. Heard one report one cast was so full, it took three people to bring in the net. Good catches of redfish in the bay as well.
