November 11, 2010

Good redfish and trout fishing!

Bay: Lot of fish being caught in the bay. Redfish, speckled trout and flounder being caught on gigs and hook and line.  Great speckled trout fishing at the mouth of the river along with white trout.

Fresh:  Scattered crappie being caught, even with the river so low it’s still good and mostly in the deep holes. Folks are catching with crappie minnows.

Danny Copeland wants to remind folks that the resident shoreline license is free. Come on by!

Hunting: Archery season still on. Right now mostly does, but that’s normal since the ratio of buck is so out of whack.
