Walton County Extension office offering tomato growing workshops Mar. 29 and April 5

tomatoesThe University of Florida / Walton County Extension office is offering tomato growing workshops in both North and South Walton County.

The first will be Friday, March 29, at the DeFuniak Springs Extension Office, 732 N. 9th Street from 2:30 – 4 p.m.

The second is Friday, April 5 at the Grayton Beach Coastal Branch Office, 70 Logan Lane from 10 – 11:30 a.m.

The cost for attending will be $10 and includes materials and free tomato plants.  New U of FL hybrid, easy to grow species will be featured.  Master Gardeners will be on hand with additional plants for sale. Seating is limited and reservations are required.  Call 850-892-8172 to reserve your place.
