Butler Elementary PTO Pumpkin Patch Oct. 14 – 30

Location: Van Ness Butler Elementary School, Santa Rosa Beach.
Pumpkins started at $5. Come and take a family photo in the patch!
Weekdays 2:45 – 6 p.m.
Saturdays 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Sundays Noon – 4 p.m.

Noche de los Muertos Costume Party Oct. 29

8 – 11:30 p.m. at Caliza Pool at Alys Beach
Get ready for a frightful Night of the Dead Costume Party Oct. 29 at Caliza Pool featuring DJ Stevo
Costumes are required and all participants must be over 21.
• Cash Bar
• $500 Cash Prize for BEST COSTUME
Tickets are $30 advance and $40 at the door. A portion of the proceeds to benefit Children’s Volunteer Health Network.

Halloweener Derby and a Trick N Treat Pet Parade at Seaside Oct. 30

Time: 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Head over to Seaside on Oct. 30 for a day of Halloween doggie fun! This is a fundraiser event to benefit 30-A Radio and The Alaqua Animal Refuge. The day will be filled with weener dog races, pet parade, costume contest and live music. Enter your pet for prizes and awards.

Fall Festival at Harmony Fellowship Oct. 30

Fall Festival at First Baptist Church Oct. 30

Location: 216 E. Live Oak Ave, DeFuniak Springs
Time: 5-8 p.m.
Food, fun, games for all ages including bounce houses and slides along with candy, hot dogs, popcorn, chips and drinks.

Frighteningly Fun Halloween in Seaside Oct. 31

Time: 4 – 6 p.m.
The Merchants of Seaside and all of the little ghosts and goblins this Halloween will be out for a fun-filled afternoon of activities! While trick-or-treating is everyone’s favorite activity, Seaside offers a variety of other games, contests and entertainment on Sunday, Oct. 31st from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Go door-to-door around the shops and restaurants at Seaside to receive candy to feed your sugary appetite. 30A Radio will be spinning terrifying tunes from the stage at the Amphitheater all afternoon and join Seaside REP actors reading spooky stories guaranteed to get you into the Halloween spirit! Also, make sure to hitch a ride on the haunted hayride. Pick up the hayride behind Heavenly’s on Quincy Circle.

Many of the Seaside merchants will be offering activities throughout the afternoon allowing children of all ages the opportunity to show off their costumes and celebrate this fun holiday. These specials include:
Barefoot BBQ – Come and “dig through the worms” with your friends at Barefoot BBQ for a chance to win some special Halloween prizes!
Beach Ready Spa – Come out for a costume party complete with black and orange nail polish, candy for the kids, treats, music and other fun activities to make you “Boo-tiful.” The fun starts at 3 p.m.
CRUSH – Join us for a Halloween brunch with lots of delightful dishes from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Fired Up! – Enjoy free pottery pumpkins and candy for kids of all ages!
Seaside Classic – Trick-or-treating for the canines in your family. Bring your four-legged friends out to enjoy some special treats for the holiday!

Red Bay Grocery Fall Festival Oct. 31

4 – 6 p.m.

There will be many activities for kids including, face painting, a pumpkin decorating/carving contest, and a hay ride!

As you know, carving pumpkins is not only time consuming, but makes quite the mess. Save time, and your kitchen, this year by purchasing your jack-o-lantern already carved by the incredibly talented Mr. John Grice.
