Thomas Pilcher park reopens

November 21, 2018

Pilcher pier, restrooms, and boat ramp are now open. The western side of the park remains closed.

On Nov. 21, 2018, Thomas Pilcher Park has re-opened to the public. The park received significant damage from Hurricane Michael and still remains partially closed along the western side of the park. However, all of the amenities on the eastern side are now fully accessible. These amenities include the boat ramps, long fishing pier, bathhouse, picnic pavilion, and parking stalls.

Please note the travel flow for the park has been altered to bi-directional along the eastern side of the park, however, it has been signed accordingly, and the exit ramp on the eastern side is functioning.

Thomas Pilcher Park is located under the southern side of the Clyde B. Wells (U.S. Hwy. 331) bridge in Santa Rosa Beach.
