Workshops to discuss  construction of a new handicap accessible observation area at Grayton and overflow parking at Santa Clara

In an effort to inform residents and receive community input regarding upcoming beach access improvement projects, the Walton County Tourist Development Council (TDC) will host multiple public workshops. The public workshops will focus on the future construction at the Grayton Dunes Regional Beach Access and the Santa Clara Regional Beach Access.

On September 9 at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m., the TDC will hold two workshops at the South Walton Fire District at 2109 County Road 395, Santa Rosa Beach, located north of the WaterColor Publix. The 6 p.m. community meeting will address the construction of a new handicap accessible observation area at Grayton Dunes Regional Beach Access, located at 288 Garfield Street, Santa Rosa Beach. The 7 p.m. community meeting will discuss the construction of overflow parking areas north of Scenic 30A for the Santa Clara Regional Beach Access, located at 3468 East Scenic 30A, Santa Rosa Beach.

The TDC will hold a third workshop on September 10 at 8:30 a.m. during the TDC Management Committee Meeting at the TDC Conference Room, located at 25777 US Hwy 331 South. Everyone interested in either project is invited to attend.
