Stargazing at Eden Gardens State Park Sept. 14

If you have visited Eden Gardens State Park on a clear night you are aware of how spectacular the night sky can be. With the help of advanced telescopes and local astronomers with the Northwest Florida Astronomy Association, you will be taken on a celestial tour, observing the constellations, galaxies, planets, their moons, and dying stars. This one-night event is open to eager stargazers of all ages and will take place on the Historic Wesley House lawn. Stargazers are welcome to bring your own telescopes. Those with prior star gazing experience, or knowledge of the constellations, are encouraged to contribute to the learning experience.

The event will be held on Friday, Sept. 14 from 6:30 – 9 p.m.

Park Fees
$4.00 per vehicle. Please use the honor box to pay fees. Correct change is required. Limit 8 people per vehicle.
$2.00 Pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passngers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass.

Eden Gardens State Park is located in Point Washington, off U.S. 98 on C.R. 395.
