Walton Outdoors publisher to speak

The E. O. Wilson Biophilia Center is hosting a presentation by Lori Ceier, publisher of Walton Outdoors on Sat., Sept. 3 at 11 a.m and at 1 p.m. The title of Ceier’s presentation is “Exploring Our Spring Fed Waterways.”

Ceier will speak about our valuable water resources and share stories and videos on four Northwest Florida springs.

Also featured on Sept. 3 is a documentary film, Green Fire, about legendary environmentalist Aldo Leopold. Green Fire highlights Leopold’s extraordinary career, tracing how he shaped and influenced the modern environmental movement.

About the E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center
The E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center offers education on a better understanding of our environment; with its focus on the importance of biodiversity, ecosystems, conservation, preservation and restoration of our natural resources.
Each weekend, the Center will focus on a different theme, featuring specialized programs such as birds of prey, remnants of a forest, gopher tortoises and nature based movies.
Admission is $5 per person.
 Children ages 6 to 12 are $2.
Children 5 and under are free.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
