South Walton Kids Fishing Tournament at Grayton Beach May 15

Time to catch some fish!

The fourth annual CCA Kids Fishing Tournament will be held at 8 a.m. – noon on Saturday, May 15 at Grayton Beach.
Sponsored by the Coastal Conservation Association, this popular tournament is for boys and girls age 15 and under. The first 150 kids will be given their own rod and reel combo, along with beach rod holders, bait, and tackle donated from the proceeds of  the “Fish Florida” specialty license tags.
On the beach we will have local captains helping in weighing fish, tying knots, and all around fishing expertise.
The tournament will be separated into three age group divisions: 
Boys: 5 years – 9 years, 
10 years – 12 years
 – 13 years – 15 years
Girls: 5 years – 9 years
, 10 years – 12 years, 
13 years – 15 years
Tournament rules:
 All participants shall be accompanied by an adult.
 All Florida Recreational Saltwater Fishing Regulations shall apply.
 All fish shall be alive at weigh-in.
 Heaviest fish weighed shall determine leader in each age group.
You kill it, you eat it!
Check-in will be at The Red Bar, located at 70 Hotz Avenue in Grayton Beach.
