The Walton County Extension office is hosting a solar cooking lass on Tuesday, May 24, from 6:00-8:30 p.m.
Making and using a solar cooker can let you have hot meals when the power is off, keep you from losing food, or just help reduce your cooking costs. We’ll demonstrate how to make a solar cooker, tips on safely using solar cookers, and even prepare foods you can sample. Registration fee is $10 and includes class materials. Space is limited.
The class will be held at the Walton County Extension Office, 732 N. 9th Street, DeFuniak Springs.
PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED by contacting the Walton County Extension Office, 850-892-8172.
