Food demonstrations and cooking tips offered during class
Join Florida Sea Grant and the University of Florida/IFAS Extension faculty as they discuss local seafood—what’s available, health benefits and risks, selecting, handling and preparing seafood. There will be food demonstrations as well as food tastings. Participants will have the opportunity to taste a variety of fish and other seafood, plus get great recipes and tips on selecting and preparing local varieties.
The class will be held at the Grayton Beach Walton County Extension Service location at 70 Logan Lane, Santa Rosa Beach on Tues., Sept. 20 from 10 a.m. – 12 Noon. Cost of the class is $15 per person, with pre-registration required. To register, call 689-5850.
