The festival features a scarecrow contest with numerous categories and cash prizes. The event will also host craft vendors, offer music by D.J. Orwat playing lost tunes from eras gone by and this years food vendor will be the Blalock’s and their food truck. (Bring on the funnel cakes!) The event is held at the Chipley Farmer’s Market pavilion home of the Washington County Historical Society Museum. Both buildings will be open that day. Come and enjoy the first of the Fall season and steep yourself in history.
