Spend the day on Florida’s most beautiful canoe trail – Econfina Creek

What better way to spend a day than paddling down beautiful Econfina Creek. Part of Florida’s Greenways and Trails, the Econfina Creek in Bay and Washington counties is many a paddlers’ favorite journey in the Florida Panhandle.
Pack a lunch and bring your snorkel, for you are about the enjoy the paddle of a lifetime as you explore Econfina creek and its many crystal clear springs along the popular 7.5 mile trip. Cabbage palms drape over the water’s edge along with blooming wildflowers scattering the banks with color during your journey. Steep, fern-covered limestone walls prevail along the paddle where the creek slices into the ancient limestone of the Floridan Aquifer. Enjoy the lush sub-tropical vegetation, unique honeycomb limestone banks, and six major spring areas that combine to make this Florida’s most beautiful canoe trail!
The friendly folks at Econfina Creek Livery are happy to set you up with a kayak or canoe for the beautiful paddle and pick you up at the end of the day.
Debbie Gay, her husband Cliff and their family run the livery 7 days a week. Open at 8:30 a.m. and close at 5 p.m., the livery offers plenty of time to spend the day on the creek. So, pack a lunch, bring your snorkel to explore the springs, and let Econfina Creek Canoe Livery handle the details.
Canoes: $55.00, 3rd adult $20.
Kayaks: $45/single, $55/double

Park and launch $5.00
Launch and pick up vessels with shuttle back to livery: $25.00
