Fresh pumpkins, acorn squash butternut squash and okra fall crop offerings at Cypress Cattle Company

Interested in getting the freshest pumpkin available for this Halloween? You can pick your own at Cypress Cattle Company in Ponce De Leon.

Starting Oct, 9 Cypress will be offering pumpkins from their one-acre patch for $3, $4 and $5. They are also offering fresh okra, butternut and acorn squash available now. Call Luke Langford at (850) 685-5890. They are located at 2890 R. M. Ward Rd., Ponce De Leon, FL.

If you are not up to picking your own, Cypress has their squash and okra available at Red Bay Grocery.

In addition to a working farm, Cypress Cattle Company offers fishing and ecotourism adventures. If you are interested in finding the perfect quiet getaway, bring your tent, fishing pole and kayak or boat, as Cypress Cattle Company offers primitive camping and solitude around their cypress tree-lined ponds. Primitive camping is $25/night, RV camping $35/night. Cypress Cattle Company can also accommodate visitors bringing their own horses. Farm tours are available for those interested Florida Panhandle agriculture in action.

Cypress Cattle Company also offers freshly cut heart pine and knotty pine and cypress cut on their on-site sawmill. They specialize in cutting large beams, wide board lumber, mantles or any other hard-to-find cut. The can kiln dry, plane and mill your lumber.  Heart pine is $5/sq. ft., knotty pine $2/sq. ft.
