Amanda Usrey, artist extraordinaire and proprietor of Studio by the Sea, is hosting a painting class with the proceeds going to Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance. The class will take place at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park on May 18 from 2:15 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Usrey will instruct participants on how to produce the painting similar to the sample at left. All materials will be provided as part of the cost of the class. The class is suited for ages 5 and up.

Participants are welcome to stay and enjoy the park following the class. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch and hang out for a bit while you admire your work.

“No experience necessary, even if you’ve never painted before,” said Usrey.
Cost is $35.00 with free entry fee to park. Meet in the parking lot no later than 2:15 p.m. to catch the tram down to Campbell Lake.
