Northwest Florida Renaissance and Fantasy Faire in Panama City March 26

renaissancefaireHear ye, hear ye, all are invited to the Inaugural Northwest Florida Renaissance and Fantasy Faire of the Shire of the Enchanted Gulf.

Have you ever wondered what it was like to live in medieval times? Well this is your chance! Come join on on Saturday March 26, 2016 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Lincoln Center, 239F 15th Street W, on the corner of 15th Street & Jenks Ave., Panama City.

There will be kings, queens, maidens, wenches, swordsmen, artisans, musicians, wizards, fairies, executioners, pirates, town criers and other actors. If you can dream it, it will be there. The Faire will be kid-friendly with lots to do for all ages.

Schedule:
10:00 a.m. – Grand entry led by King Tony Simmons
10:45 a.m. – Human Chess Game
11:30 a.m. – PC Pipes & Drums
1:00 p.m. – Shakespearian Hokey Pokey
2:45 p.m. – Human Chess Game
4:30 p.m. – Candi Blades
Events to include: Costal Embers-fire eating, staff, poi, fans and breathing; Candi Blades-flaming knives, walks on broken glass; Grady Smith-master carver; Jamie Flynn and his gongs; Darce Blakely of Crystal Cottage-tarot reading, storytelling; Heather Clemmons-hula hoop art dancing, PC Pipes & Drums; Lazy C Ranch-horses; rapier and heavy fighting; stockade and the executioner; belly dancers; Shakespearian Hokey Pokey, Scottish Highland Games, Medieval Games, Cross Bow Games, Children’s section to include a treasure hunt and fairy tea party, and more.

There will be plenty of vendors with merchandise and food galore: grog, turkey legs, BBQ, smoked meats, funnel cakes and other delicacies. Fare thee anon!
