Come down to Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin and welcome paddling environmentalist Margo Pelligrino as she makes a stop on her way to New Orleans on her 1,000 mile journey. Margo is paddling from Ft. Pierce, Fla. to New Orleans to bring awareness to the state of our waterways. Very cool lady, on a worthy quest indeed!

The Okaloosa Arts Alliance is hosting their second annual Family Fun Arts Fest to be held May 17 at Henderson Beach State Park on U.S. 98 in Destin. The festival and park are free and open to the public all day, with parking available in the park. All proceeds benefit the Okaloosa Arts Alliance.
