Celebrate Independence Day in Walton County
Lots of fun everywhere on the 4th of July
It doesn’t matter where you are, the Fourth of July will be celebrated near you in Walton County. The fun kicks off early with parades, then continues with barbecue cook-offs, music, water slides, pony rides, mullet toss competition, Air Force fly-overs and fireworks. Check out some of the places with water fun, it’s gonna be a firecracker out there!
Sunday, July 5
Unfortunately, each year Fourth of July celebrations leave the area’s pristine, white sand beaches littered with trash and firework debris. Therefore, the Walton County Tourist Development Council (TDC) and South Walton Community Council (SWCC) invite residents and visitors to help clean up the area’s beaches on July 5th from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Click here for details
