Demo SKEETER boats and get fishing tips from pros
Legendary Marine, the Gulf Coast’s largest boat dealership and multi-year winner of top boat dealer sales and service awards, has recently brought SKEETER Saltwater boats aboard to join its extensive new product line-up, To celebrate the launch of SKEETER to the market, Legendary Marine is hosting an action-packed day of free fishing events at its Destin, FL headquarters location on Saturday, March 24, from 11:30 – 4 p.m.
The event kicks off with free boat demonstrations at 11:30 which run throughout the day. Free lunch for registered participants includes beer and bratwurst, available through 1:00 pm, followed by two seminars taught by regional pros.
“Fishing the Beach” begins at 1:30 and offers hands-on instruction about locating tarpon, cobia, redfish and pompano from shore, featuring lure and fly presentations, led by Captain Mike Mangum of Shallow Water Expeditions.
The second seminar, “Fishing the Flats,” features a presentation by Captain Blake Nelson and Captain Wes Nelson of Team Nelson Boys, who will share secrets about where and how to find redfish, trout, flounder and sheepshead year ’round on the bay.
In addition, Joe Mercurio, host of the Pro Tarpon Tournament Series, will be on hand as celebrity emcee throughout the day. Raffle prizes featuring fishing tackle and gear will also be awarded at the event’s conclusion. Advance registration requested: (850) 337-8300.
