May 6, 2013

herbsProgram in North and South Walton

Learn to grow herbs anywhere, including on your windowsill. Whether you decide to grow your herbs inside or outside, keeping them close to the kitchen will make it more convenient to use fresh herbs in your dishes. Using herbs is a great way to reduce sodium, sugar, and fat in your diet while adding bold new flavors. Learn all about herbs at the Walton County Extension Service program on May 15. Cost is $10 and includes sample foods, herb clipping and materials.

To sign up for a Container Herb program at one of our Extension locations please call Ricki McWilliams, Family & Consumer Sciences Agent II – (850) 892-8172
