Learn how to identify invasive species at South Walton Extension Office Nov. 7

Walton County Master Gardeners will be presenting a lecture “Identifying the Invader” on Wed. Nov. 7, 2012 at the South Walton Extension Office. The lecture will be held from 10 – 11:30 a.m. at the Coastal Branch Office, 70 Logan Lane, Grayton Beach.

Learn how to identify invasive species in your backyard with Horticulture agent, Sheila Dunning from the Okaloosa County Extension. These can be from both the animal and plant kingdoms. She will explain why it is important to identify and eliminate these from our gardens and neighborhoods. Her presentations are popular for her humor and extensive knowledge of her subjects.
