July 12, 2019

Are you interested in becoming a University of Florida/IFAS Walton County Master Gardener?  If so, the Walton County Master Gardeners would like to invite you to join them for a prospective Master Gardener volunteer orientation day on Thursday, August 15th from 10 am – Noon at the UF/IFAS Walton County Extension Office, 732 N 9th St, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435.

At the orientation, you will learn what a Florida Master Gardener is, become familiar with our mission, discover all the volunteer, community service and continuing education opportunities we offer, hear what the course and program requirements are, meet county Master Gardener Coordinator Daniel Leonard and many of our current volunteers, and ultimately decide if we are the right fit for you!  To register for the orientation, call (850)-892-8172 or email haneyc@ufl.edu to reserve your spot.  There is no cost to attend the orientation and light refreshments will be provided.
