Landscaping workshop in Santa Rosa Beach March 6

The Walton County Master Gardeners would like to invite you to attend “New Introductions:  Try These Plants to Modernize Your Landscape,” the latest installment of the Walton County Master Gardeners Lecture Series on Wednesday, March 6th from 10 am – Noon at the UF/IFAS Walton County Extension Coastal Branch, 70 Logan Lane, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459. 

This workshop will feature Walton County Horticulture Agent Daniel Leonard presenting about new ornamental species, varieties and cultivars recently released into retail nurseries that have the potential to absolutely transform your garden!  Learn which traits breeders are selecting for in new plants and why, which old species and cultivars these new introductions are meant to replace and how to use each of the highlighted plants in your garden for maximum impact.  Seating is limited, so call (850)-892-8172 or emailhaneyc@ufl.edu to reserve your spot!  Cost of the program is $5 (cash or check only) and will include presentation handouts, educational publications and light refreshments.
