Join Topsail Hill Preserve State Park on Kids to Parks Day for a Kid Safety Expo and a “Cache In, Trash Out” Adventure on Saturday May 18 from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Participants will be exploring the park by foot while looking for thirteen geocache locations. At each location visited, event participants will learn more about the area of the park they are in and help maintain it by picking up trash as they go. The Kids Safety Expo will have fun activities for kids to learn about being safe while outdoors. Participants will need a GPS or a smart phone capable with GPS, water, weather appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes.
This program is free with regular park admission and will start at the Amphitheater.
