Pet portraits raise money for worthy cause

In conjunction with the upcoming Transformations Art Show in Rosemary Beach, children will have the opportunity to paint pet portraits for a great cause.

Bring your child by Gigi’s Fabulous Kids Fashions and Toys in Rosemary Beach on Saturdays through July 18, and their pet painting will help raise money for Alaqua Animal Refuge, Walton County’s only no kill animal refuge and adoption center.

Not only will the kids have fun painting one of the adoptable pets from Alaqua, the will learn the gift of giving as well.

There will also be a lemonade stand, where folks can purchase yummy lemonade for $1.00, with the proceeds also going to Alaqua.

Where: Gigi’s Fabulous Kids Fashions and Toys
62 main street, Rosemary Beach
When: Every Saturday from June 27 – July 18, Time: 3-5 p.m.
