June Summer horse camps offered at Gulfside Trail Rides

Learn good horsemanship and riding at summer camp

Gulfside Trail Rides is proud to announce their first summer day horse camp with instructor Allison Richards.

The day camp is from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., Mon. – Fri. There are two sessions: June 6-10 and June 20-24. Ages 5-12. Cost is $350 per session. A deposit of $50 is due by May 30, with the remaining $300 due upon the start of each session.

Campers are asked to bring a lunch and enough liquids, and a change of clothes (shorts, tennis shoes, and t-shirt). All riders will be asked to arrive ready to ride with jeans, breeches, and a boot with a heel. Helmets will be provided.

The focus is the provide as much one on one instruction as possible. The camp is looking to accommodate between 4-8 campers per session. They are accepting inexperienced and experienced riders and will group the children accordingly.

The campers will experience: one-on-one instruction, trail riding, grooming, care of the horse, tacking up, animal and barn safety, horse games, nature walks, craft projects, and a fun/jump house.

The camp will be held at Gulfside Trail Rides, 316 S. County Road 393, Santa Rosa Beach, Fl 32459. There are on site bathrooms, an air-conditioned area, picnic tables, refrigeration, and ample parking.
