Hurricane resistant tree lecture in Santa Rosa Beach Jan. 2

It is never too early to begin preparing for the next hurricane season and proper planning can help protect your home for these inevitable events.  The Walton County Master Gardeners would like to invite you to attend “Preparing for the Next Hurricane,” the latest installment of the Walton County Master Gardeners Lecture Series on Wednesday, January 2nd from 10 am to 12 pm at the Coastal Branch Office, 70 Logan Lane, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459.  

Join in as the Walton County Horticulture Agent, Daniel Leonard, discusses which Florida-friendly, wind-resistant trees are safe to plant for the next hurricane season, and which ones to get rid of.
