Miss Teen Okaloosa/Walton, Devero Bogart and Miss Okaloosa/Walton Lille Graber donned their tiaras and helped chip in along with hundreds of volunteers across the Florida Panhandle on International Coastal Beach Clean Up Day on Sept. 19. Many volunteers helped clean up the beaches in South Walton in a national effort sponsored by the Ocean Conservancy. The effort removed trash and debris from the world’s beaches and waterways, and helped identify the sources of debris, as each volunteer cataloged their findings.  The local program was sponsored by the Walton County Tourist Development Council (WCTDC), and the Surfrider Foundation.
