Honey Badger Martial Arts kicks off self defense, conditioning classes

Learn at your own pace with ongoing classes

Honey Badger Martial Arts in conjunction with 30a CrossFit will offer ongoing self defense and conditioning classes every Thursday at 7 p.m. The classes are based on the principles of Wing Chun, Tai Chi Chuan, Shaolin Qin Na, Muay Thai and western boxing.

Lead instructor Ed Berry has been training in martial arts since the age of eight with the past 12 years focused on Chinese Arts of: Wing Chun and White Crane Gong Fu, Shaolin Qin Na, Taijiquan and Qigong.   In the years of training in these Chinese Arts, Ed has been invited to travel all across the United States to train with Dr. Yang Jing–Ming, Sifu Rich Gibson and Sifu Henry Patterson of www.ymaa.com and Master Yip Pui (Terence Yip) of www.yipwingchun.com.

Ed will be assisted by 30a CrossFit co-owner and trainer Karen Katzenbach who will introduce the class to striking drills from Muay Thai and western boxing as well as cross fit conditioning.
