Can you handle THE HAUNTED HOSPITAL featured in the 1999 campy horror classic, “House on the Haunted Hill?” Time will tell if you can manage to hold on to your senses and escape this chamber of terror, witnessing cauldrons of blood, gory ghosts and something even more…the “darkness.” The Haunted House address is 1290 Circle Drive, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435.

Bash at the Barn and Haunted Corn Maze Oct. 22 – Time: 5 – 10 p.m.

lukelangford331bandThis year we’re combining two of our favorite nights at the maze into one huge event! Grab your boots and hats and head to the farm for a night of country music from Luke Langford & 331 South and if you’re brave enough, try to escape our haunted maze!! This is a family-friendly event, you’re welcome to bring a byob cooler, just be sure to pack your manners too (remember this is a Cattle Company, we hogtie!). We’ll have a sawdust dance floor, full concessions for dinner, fun activities for the kiddos….plus our nighttime hayride & haunted maze! So bring your chairs, blankets, family and friends to the farm for a great fall night!!

The Farm that day will be open from 10am to 3pm, will close 3pm-5pm and reopen for the nighttime festivities at 5pm! Season pass holders & Campsite buyers are admitted with no charge, all others will need a farm & maze pass to attend ($10/adults, $6/kids 4 & up), that includes haunted maze entrance & all event activities.

Overnight primitive camping/RV spots will be made available October 1 on our website for $80/each, they come with 5 Farm & Maze passes. They’ll be on a first-come,first-served basis till they sell out.

Enjoy a movie under the stars at Eden Gardens State Park

The Friends Eden Gardens State Park will host the third Annual Vintage Film Series at Eden Gardens State Park. Come and enjoy The Addams Family on October 27. Haunted carnival at Rocky Bayou State Park Oct. 29  –  10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Join the Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park staff and volunteers on Friday, October 29th, 2016 for a Haunted Carnival hosted by The Friends of the Emerald Coast State Parks. The Carnival will feature 12 booths featuring face painting, ring toss, balloon darts, and many other games. The Haunted Carnival will be from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The Haunted Carnival is known to inhabit ghosts, spiders, wolves, and spooky sights. Come join us for a day of fright and fun.

Park admission fees do apply and donations will be accepted at the CSO tent to improve their events. Please leave all furry friends at home. Witches of South Walton Ride 

witchesofsouthwaltonThe Witches of South Walton will be riding again along Scenic Hwy. 30A for the 13th year in a row. The event will be held on Mon.., Oct. 31, 2016 at 7 a.m. The witches ride for a cause of course, as a benefit for the Children’s Volunteer Health Network (CVHN. The registration cost is $30.00 which includes access to the Gathering Brunch and 3 tickets for Mimosas.

The in person registration event will take place on Friday, October 28th 2016 from 5 –  8 pm at La Playa in Gulf Place on the Town Center Loop side of the restaurant. Cash or checks for registration and raffle tickets. Checks can be made out to Children’s Volunteer Health Network. Registration fee is $30.

The ride will take place on Monday, Oct. 31. Witches will meet at the starting location at Gulf Place before start time of 7 a.m.
