Growing herbs workshop at Coastal Branch Extension office March 6

herbsEnjoy the satisfaction of growing your own herbs.  They are fragrant, attractive plants and a nice addition to any garden or container.  Master Gardener, John Kratt will present the 11th lecture in a series for local gardeners.  Learn about which herbs are easy to grow in our area on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 10 – 11:30 a.m.
The program is free and open to the public. It will be held at the Walton County Coastal Extension Office located in Grayton Beach, at 70 Logan Lane, off CR 283, just north of the 4 way stop. Light refreshments will be offered and Master Gardeners will be on hand to take gardening questions.  Soil testing supplies and instruction will be available for $8.  Seating is limited.
