Gardening in the sand lecture in Grayton Beach Nov. 2

 It has been said that Florida soil is good for one thing: keeping the plant from tipping over!  Sheila Dunning, UF/IFAS Commercial Horticulture Agent, will address the challenges and provide solutions for gardening in the sand during this latest installment in the Walton County Master Gardeners’ Lecture Series on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the Walton Extension Coastal Branch in Grayton Beach.  The location is 70 Logan Lane which runs west off CR 283 just north of the 4-way stop.

The cost of this program is $5 (cash or check only, please) and includes materials, handouts and light refreshments.  Space is limited and reservations are required so save your place by contacting Cheryl Haney at 850-892-8172 or by October 31!

Master Gardeners will be on hand to take gardening questions and soil sampling supplies and instruction will be available for $8.
