Garden fertilizer workshop Oct. 5

September 16, 2011

How does your garden grow?

If you want to improve your garden, come learn the ABCs of NPK, otherwise known as the secret code found on fertilizer packages, such as 10-15-10.  What do these symbols mean and how can you select the proper fertilizer for your purposes?  You may be wasting time and money and hurting the environment with the wrong product.  Find the answers to these and many other questions as

Walton County Master Gardener, Len Ross holds a fertilizer workshop on Wed., Oct. 5th from 10 – 11:30 a.m. at the Walton County Extension Coastal Branch.

It is located at 70 Logan Lane, just north of the 4 way stop off CR 283 in Grayton Beach.

Light refreshments will be served.  Soil testing supplies will be provided.

This workshop is free and open to the community.  Seating is limited and reservations are recommended.  Please call Cheryl at 850-892-8172 to reserve your place or for more information.
