Garden disease lecture in Grayton Beach Nov. 4

masterlogoBefore you grab that fungicide, insecticide or any pesticide, attend The Great American Garden lecture on signs and symptoms of plant problems in the landscape.  Dr. Matthews Paret, Plant Pathologist, from North Florida Research and Education Center in Quincy, Florida, will discuss the differences and show you what to look for to help you make right decision for your garden.  Learn how to save time, money and our environment.

The Walton County Master Gardeners continue this popular lecture series created for the local homeowner. This program will be held on Wed., Nov. 4, 2015 at the Coastal Branch Extension Office located at 70 Logan Lane, in Grayton Beach just north of the 4-way stop, west off CR 283.  It will be at 10:00 to 11:30 am. Light refreshments will be served and Master Gardeners will be on hand to take gardening questions.

The lecture is free and open to the public, however seated is limited and reservations must be made by the Monday, Nov. 2 by contacting Cheryl at 850-892-8172.

Soil testing supplies and instruction will be available. This is a service of the University of Florida / IFAS Extension and Walton County.
