Florida Park Service announces park fee increases

The mission of the Florida Park Service is to provide resource based recreation while preserving, interpreting and restoring natural and cultural resources.

The information below is for daily entrance fees to Florida’s 160 state parks, as well as
information about overnight accommodations. For other fees and more information,
visit www.floridastateparks.org. For any questions about specific fee increases not
listed below please call (850) 245-3029.

OPERATING HOURS
Florida State Parks are open from 8:00 a.m. to sunset every day of the year. Many
museums, visitor centers and historic sites may be closed two days per week, usually
Tuesday and Wednesday. Hours may vary. Check the park’s Web site for details.

ANNUAL ENTRANCE PASSES
Annual Entrance Passes allow you to discover, experience and enjoy Florida’s beautiful
state parks for just pennies a day.
• The Family Annual Entrance Pass is valid for up to eight people in a group.
• Annual Entrance Passes allow park entrance in lieu of the daily entrance fee.
• Does not waive other special use fees charged at some parks for special events or
activities such as boat tours and tubing.
• Additional local fees may apply (example: Monroe County Surcharge).
• Annual Entrance Passes are honored at all state parks, except for Homosassa Springs
Wildlife State Park, Skyway Fishing Pier State Park and Weeki Wachee Springs State
Park, where they are valid for a 33% discount.
• Annual Entrance Passes may be purchased online, through your nearest state park,
by direct mail, or you may call (352) 628-7002.

OVERNIGHT ACCOMODATIONS
Overnight accommodations in Florida’s state parks are offered at 55 parks with
campsites, 19 parks with cabins and one park with a lodge. Campsite fees will increase
an average of $1.00-$4.00 per night and cabin fees will increase an average of $10.00 per night. For more details on camping and cabins, please visit www.floridastateparks.org.

DAILY ENTRANCE FEE SCHEDULE
All fees are per vehicle unless otherwise noted. County surcharges may apply. Please
contact the parks for additional information. Please be advised there may be additional
fees for the use of certain park amenities, such as camping, special tours or equipment
rentals. Children under six are free at all state parks.

*Indicates a park that may not have a staff supervised entrance. Fees at these parks are collected by an envelope and drop box. Correct change may be required.
