Florida-Friendly Landscaping Workshop Series Sept. 19, 25, Oct. 2

University of Florida/IFAS Walton County Extension would like to invite you to attend their “Florida-Friendly Landscaping Workshop Series” Sept. 19, Sept. 25, Oct. 2. The workshops will be held at Walton County Extension Coastal Branch, 70 Logan Ln, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459 from 9 a.m. – 12 Noon.

Florida-Friendly Landscaping (FFL) means using low-maintenance plants and environmentally sustainable practices. To learn more how to create a beautiful landscape that could save you time, energy and money while protecting our future, sign up to attend this workshop series! This series includes two site visits: an initial consultation to assess the current landscape situation and follow up site consultation to certify yards.

The cost of the series is $30 and includes three 2-hour workshops and three printed publications The Florida Friendly Landscaping Guide to Plant Selection and Landscape Design, The Florida Yards and Neighborhoods Handbook, a Florida-Friendly Landscaping folder.

You must attend all three days to receive the $30 price and follow up site visits. Individual workshop participation costs are $15 per class and do not include site visits.  Registration link here  gives you access to all three sessions.
