Fall garden ideas from from Off The Vine Produce

The weather is cooling off, and fall is the perfect time to plant trees and shrubs. They will have the winter season to get there roots established before new growth in the springtime.  Fall is also a great time to plant vegetable crops like spinach, lettuce, kale, carrots, radishes, sugar snap peas, and cabbage, to name a few. Stop in and get your Seeds of Change organic seeds; they are GMO (genetic modified organism) and pesticide-free, thereby enhancing germination. Just remember not to plant them too deep.

As funny as it may sound, old CDs make great ‘scarecrows’ to keeps the birds out of your garden. Hang them with fishing line close to the ground, the swinging motions keeps the birds and squirrels (to a degree) out of your garden.
