Enjoy an Easter egg hunt at a variety of locations and dates in north and south Walton this 2024 Easter season.

March 26 – Walton County Coastal Branch Library Santa Rosa Beach Easter Egg Hunt – Join the Easter Egg Hunt for kids at Coastal Branch Library on Tuesday, March 26 starting at 10 a.m. Great for kids of all ages. This event is sponsored and fully supported by the Friends Group of Coastal Branch Library. Please bring your egg basket and your friends to the Coastal Branch Library for this outdoors event. March 30 – Camp Helen State Park Easter egg scavenger hunt will be held from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Sat., March 30, 2024. Families may check-in any time throughout the posted event time at the park, grab a designated age group egg hunt card and enjoy a color-coded hike which will take them on an educational journey through the park. Once all 6 colors have been collected, participants return the cards and eggs to the volunteers at the tables on the porch of the Historic Lodge for a special prize. The Easter Bunny will be there.
Attendees can also enjoy Gelato Love food truck, a silent auction of local gifts, a merchandise table, and kayak rentals on Lake Powell, the Largest Coastal Dune Lake in the northern hemisphere.
Park Fees
There is an honor entrance station. The fee is $4.00 per vehicle and $1.00 per bicyclist or pedestrian. Click here for park website.

Camp Helen is located at 23937 Panama City Beach Parkway, Panama City Beach, FL, just west of the Phillips Inlet bridge on the Bay and Walton County line. The entrance is south of U.S. Hwy 98. ::MAP::

March 30 – Celebrate an Easter egg hunt Eggstravaganza and Spring Festival at Freeport Regional Sports Complex from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on March 30, 2024.
Sponsored by the Freeport Town Planters Society, the event will feature pony rides, crafts, arts, touch tank, and food trucks.
Easter eggs that fall from the sky sponsored by Destiny Worship.
Times are:
Toddlers 0-3 at 10:00 a.m.
Ages 4-7 at 10:30 a.m.
Ages 8-11 at 11:30 a.m.

March 30 – Baytowne Wharf Easter Explosion – Bounce on over to the Village of Baytowne Wharf for an Easter Explosion, Saturday, March 30 from noon to 3 p.m. Enjoy a day filled with face-painting, arts, crafts and more. March 31 – First Methodist Church DeFuniak Springs Easter celebration and hunt – Get ready for a joy-filled morning of family fun and fellowship on Sunday, March 31 at 10:15 a.m. as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Children of all ages are invited to join us for an egg hunt on the front lawn of First Methodist Church. After the egg hunt, stick around for refreshments and goody bags for all participants. March 31 – Seaside Easter Celebration – Celebrate Easter in Seaside with the Easter Bunny at the amphitheater. There will be plenty of fun activities for guests of all ages beginning at 11 a.m. including face painting, an Easter egg hunt and photos with the bunny.
