Where the Wild Things Run 5K Trail Run/1 Mile Fun Run in Freeport

Race through the woods on a wild adventure. Join the E.O.Wilson Biophilia Nature Center for the 2nd Annual Where the Wild Things Run. Sign up for the 5K Trail Run or 1 Mile “Little Critter” Fun Run benefiting the Center on Saturday, October 14. The event starts at 7 a.m.

The 5K Trail Run course will take you through parts of Nokuse Plantation, a 53,000 acre conservation area. The challenging terrain will highlight the diversity and beauty of Northwest Florida. Runners, joggers and walkers of all ages are welcome.

The E.O.Wilson Biophilia Center is a non-profit environmental education center with the mission to educated students and visitors on the importance of biodiversity, to promote sustainability, and to encourage conservation, preservation and restoration of ecosystems.

Race Goodies:
All 5K Trail Run Advanced Registrants, or first 300 signed up, will receive t-shirt, wooden finisher medal, and swag bag. All “Little Critter” Fun Run Advanced Registrants, or first 100 signed up, will receive wooden finisher medal.

Registration and Pricing: 5K Trail Run: $35.00
“Little Critter” 1 Mile Fun Run: $15.00 (children 12 and younger only, please)
