Learn about sea turtles at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park Aug. 17

July 5, 2019

Join Topsail Hill Preserve State Park for a sea turtle baby shower on Sat., Aug. 17 from 5 – 7 p.m. Through games, activities and interactive displays event attendees will learn about sea turtles, sea turtle hatching season and all the animals that share the Gulf with them. They will also be celebrating the anniversary of Topsail Hill Preserve State Park being a Florida State Park.

The agencies and organizations participating will have a ‘baby registry’ or wish list of small and large items people can purchase and gift them to help further their mission. Some of the baby registries will also have things people can do to help sea turtles and other marine animals.

Please know that there will not be any live sea turtles nor a sea turtle release at this event.

This program is free and admission to the park is free until Labor Day weekend.
