Learn about area state park ecosystems in Santa Rosa Beach Nov. 15

November 14, 2017

The Friends of South Walton Sea Turtles Volunteer Beach Ambassador (VBA) Team invites you to attend their We Share The Beaches educational series. Their first program for the season will be presented by Jeff Talbert, field biologist at the Atlantic Botanical Garden on assignment at Deer Lake State Park.

He will be lecturing on the unique treasures found in the three state parks located in south Walton County: Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, Grayton Beach State Park, and Deer Lake State Park. These sessions are open to the public and are offered as training for VBA’s to enhance their local knowledge to share with guests on our beaches.

The lecture will be held, November 15th from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Coastal Branch Library, 437 Greenway Trail in Santa Rosa Beach.
