Estuary Festival at Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park in Niceville April 6

Mattie M. Kelly Environmental Institute is hosting their 12th Annual Family Estuary Festival on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park in Niceville from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Fun activities, hands-on displays and environmental awareness exhibits will be on hand. You will learn about the local waters of our estuary and the people living and working there at this family friendly event.

Participating organizations include Choctawhatchee Audubon Society; Junior Rangers Program; Northwest Florida Aquatic Preserves; Florida Trail Association; Hike It Baby; Walton County Environmental Department; University of Florida Milton; Audubon Florida; Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance; Okaloosa County Environmental Heath; US Fish and Wildlife Service; Topsail Hill Preserve State Park; Early Learning Coalition of Emerald Coast; Northwest Florida State College Kids on Campus; Kayak Tours; and more.

The event is FREE and open to the public with paid admission to the park. (Regular Florida State Park fees apply:
•$5 per vehicle. Limit 8 people per vehicle.
• $4 Single occupant vehicle.
• $2 Pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass.
