Friday evening, April 7, 2017, Historic Baldwin Avenue will be the site of the Downtown Arts Night.
Regional artists, wood workers, jewelers, authors, quilters, basket weavers and many other hand selected crafters from DeFuniak Springs and surrounding area will line the streets to show off their talents and wares.
The event will be held in the historic district of downtown DeFuniak Springs from 5 – 9 p.m. along Baldwin Avenue, from 6th to 8th streets. Shop, eat, and enjoy a night of art, music and fun for the entire family. Downtown businesses will keep their lights on for you to peruse their stores and light up the evening events.
From one end of Baldwin to the other, music will be in the air as musicians as musicians are back by popular demand. The talented Bruce Naylor will play smooth vibes on his jazz and blues guitar in front of Naylor Realty and Cassidy Freiburger and Bella Pryor, two high school girls with talent beyond their ages will sing pop and modern tunes. You will also enjoy featured guest musician Shane D’Fury. Shane is a well-known performer and singer from South Walton who knows how to get you on your feet with contemporary and popular tunes.
Bogey’s Restaurant and That Pizza Place will be open during Arts Night to serve you as well.
