Many people moving to Florida want to add citrus and palms to the landscape. But, these plants have very specific requirements that can limit their ability to grow well. Learning which species are more likely to survive and how to properly care for them can improve the homeowner’s success. The Wednesday, December 6th Master Gardener Lecture Series program will introduce this helpful information. It will be held at 10 a.m. at the Walton County Coastal Branch Extension office located at 70 Logan Lane in Grayton Beach. Sheila Dunning, UF/IFAS Commercial Horticulture Agent II, will present this often-requested program.
The cost to attend is $5 a person. Cash or check only, please. Reservations are required and may be made by contacting Cheryl at 850-892-8172 or firstname.lastname@example.org by the Monday before. Light refreshments will be served.
Master Gardeners will be on hand to take gardening questions and help with soil samples. There is an $8 fee including shipping to submit samples to the University of Florida for analysis.
