Eden Gardens State Park and the Friends of Eden Gardens State Park will host the Annual Camellia Festival February 18, 2017. Visitors are invited to stroll through the gardens and enjoy camellia demonstrations and presentations. Living History (re-enactors) will also be present on the grounds during the festival. Local food vendors; Dog man Du delicious hot dogs and Dovalina’s wood fired pizza will be available for purchase or pack a picnic lunch to enjoy.
Camellias and other plants will be available for a donation from the nursery.
Tentative schedule for the guest lectures (held in the pavilion area) are as follows:
10:15am- Horticulture of Camellias by Marie Harrison, Master Gardner and published author of numerous gardening books
11:15 am- Waxing camellia blooms by Terry Cost
11:45 am Demonstrations of air layering by Jane Rogers
12:15 pm Floral demonstration using camellias by Tim Ard of Emerald Coast Flowers and Gifts

Eden Gardens State Park is located in Walton County off U.S.98 on C.R. 395. Follow 395 to park entrance sign then turn left into the park.
The Wesley House will be open for tours starting at 10:00am and ending at 3:00pm Applicable fees for the house tours apply.
